"Power Life Balance" is how I describe my approach to health and healing, both in my work with clients and in my own life.
Soul Lightening Acupressure, aka Process Acupressure is rooted in the concept of balance -- restoring the balance and flow of a person's inherent natural energies to promote self-healing and restoration of vitality. It's also about bringing more awareness to those areas of energy so we can be more connected with ourselves and the world around us, sustain a healthful balance in all areas of life and think well and creatively about every new situation we face.
I take a similar approach to health and nutrition coaching. My goal is to find what works well and is nourishing for each person's unique complexity of biology, emotions, and life circumstances, and to help you set up sustainable ways to stay balanced within that framework.
Power is not necessarily separate or different from balance, but we tend to think of them as distinct. In my experience, both healing from illness and setting my life up well have required tenacity and an energy that at times can feel like a fight. Not to be dramatic, but yes, I do mean "fighting for your life" -- in my case not against imminent death (gratefully) but for a meaningful, joyful, healthful, abundant life. This takes power, and it also builds power.
We have so many ways of thinking about power (as freedom, as control, as physical strength, etc. ). For me, currently, it means staying aware of your possibilities (which are limitless), being open to change (since it's happening every moment), making choices that make sense (based on your best thinking), and not giving up.
This is the one you've got in this moment.

I think of it as "ferocious living for gentle people." The full spectrum of life's experiences, colors, textures, feelings -- and a deep connection to the earth, the universe, and your own highest good.
